Minecraft Launcher troubleshooting

Checks that apply to most launcher errors

  • Same Microsoft account in Store, Xbox app, and launcher.
  • Windows Update, Store Library updates, and Gaming Services current.
  • VPN, proxy, or school filter off for a test, or a phone hotspot as a network check.
  • Run as administrator only if Windows shows a permission error, not as a default.
